Finke made a post a couple of weeks ago talking about how you have to overcome fear and get outside your comfort zone to do that. If you haven’t read the post you should check it out. I think that this is something a lot of people deal with in their everyday lives whether they realize it or not, consciously or subconsciously. I’ll be going over different ways you can overcome fear and get out of that fearful “mind” set.
To get over fear is to understand what fear is on different levels. Fear is a frequency that one radiates on whenever they are unsure of any circumstance they may be in. Fear is something that can’t be seen or heard, but is felt. It is an invisible force that comes forth from the subconscious mind. It’s something that’s not easy to overcome, but it’s possible. The way that fear can be overcome is through knowledge and preparation. Most of the time, fear creeps up on people due to past negative experiences. The mind tries to protect itself from allowing that experience to happen again. With overcoming fear, what has helped me in the past is having a solid foundation or a solid plan of attack on how to attain whatever it is I am after. Having this plan will allow you to visualize and concentrate on what you want and how to get there. In between that planning, you’ll be able to see what can go right, but you also can see what can go wrong. You’re able to have a bird’s eye view of the situation. If you don’t have a vision or you don’t have a plan, you’ll just be walking in the dark, afraid. You can’t be afraid of what you’re prepared for.

When setting your goals and setting a plan of attack, never be fearful of failure. Instead, replace that feeling of fear with the power of will. Will power is a force that will allow you to not only overcome fear, but will allow you to accomplish your goals and succeed in whatever you set your mind to. When studying and listening to those who have had major success in their field, a lot of them have come across what we call failures in their journey. We as an audience or people from the outside might call their experience a failure, but for them, they look at it as a lesson to be learned. Having strong willpower requires having strong faith. My definition of faith is believing in yourself and not knowing how it’s going to happen, but knowing that it will happen. Faith is an invisible force that’s a real power that you can use to your advantage with anything in life. The two work hand in hand with each other. The psychology of successes will show that faith and willpower are the workings behind most successes and miracles. Things never happen by pure accident.
Missteps might happen in your journey. When they happen, it is usually there to help you learn a lesson that you might need to know for later down your journey. Focus on the ideal vision you would like to have with your goal or with the ideal person that you would like to become and understand that the only failures in life are the ones that you accept them to be. Don’t mistake a lesson for a failure. Move with faith and know that your vision will manifest into your reality. You won’t necessarily know how it will play out or look like, but I believe part of living life is for the experience of it. All of this is way easier said than done, but the things most desirable in life are never easy to come by. You will experience some good and some bad, but with strong willpower and faith, you can overcome any fear and any obstacle from holding you back from anything
